Description
Las Olimpiadas, Monterey Park, 1984. East Los Angeles College, exterior front, Brooklyn Avenue (now East Cesar Chavez Avenue) and Schoolside Avenue (near Atlantic Boulevard), Monterey Park. Portraits of Olympic athletes as well as children engaged in sports. During the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles the hockey competition was held at East Los Angeles College. Acrylic on concrete, 60' x 20', by Frank Martinez with Lynda Silva. Sponsored by Goez and LAOOC. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, p. 316, #65.
