Description
Quetzalcoatl -- Plumed serpent, City Terrace, 1972. Mercado Hidalgo, exterior rear alley, City Terrace and Miller avenues, City Terrace. The principal Aztec god, Quetzalcoatl, is symbolized as a feathered or plumed serpent. The bottom half of the mural has been painted out. Enamel and acrylic on stucco, 12' x 20', by Willie Herron III. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 286, #8.

He combined existing graffiti with a design that looks at once Mexican and Oriental.
