Detail 1 of 4 of Oil, life and ecology, Long Beach, 1990, California National Guard 7th Street Armory, exterior, 845 East 7th Street (near Alamitos Street). The mural theme addresses the ecological problems and consequences of oil, a resource that was critical in the development of Long Beach. In acrylic on cement, 13' x 72' by Eva Cockcroft with assistance of Raymond Jackson, Celia Ko, Kenneth Leach and Allessandra Moctezuma. Sponsored by LBDPR, LBCDD and California National Guard -- Dunitz, Street gallery, p. 258, #41.
