Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mark Hofkins Institute, showing earthquake damage, [s.d.]. A brick road lies in the foreground with men in suits and hats standing near the tree on the far right. At center a raised plot of land lies within a white metal fence with thick stone posts. The fence contains the ruins of the institute which are scattered around the tall, corner tower which still stands.
