Description
Photograph of a burned cable car near Van Ness, San Francisco, 1906. The cable car is barely recognizable as it lies in pieces on the road at center. People walk on the sidewalk to the left of it while a wrecked building stands across the street on the right. The debris of the building spills in to the street while portions of the walls still stand. The damage continues into the background where the city stands in ruins.
