Description
Photograph of Lincoln Avenue in Salinas, showing the Episcopal Church, Monterey, ca.1900. A row of thick trees shade the sidewalk in the foreground on the left with pools of leaves on the street below them. The trees continue down the right side of the sidewalk into the background where a fenced yard of thick trees hangs over from the left. The small church stands across the street on the right with a large, arched, stained-glass window in its front wall. A small set of stairs leads to the entrance on the building's left side, just below the tall steeple. Electrical poles line the right side of the street.
