Description
Ground-floor circulation desk, Doheny Memorial Library, 1950s. The ground-floor rotunda was once a service area for requesting books or paying fines. During the building's expansion in the 1960s, the desk was decomissioned. Later, the rotunda served as an exhibition space for the libraries' cultural programming.
