Description
Photograph of a view of a Shriners parade on Seventh Street looking east from Olive Street, ca.1926. Seventh Street is at center and runs away from the camera. There are two sets of streetcar tracks in the middle of the road, and two streetcars are visible, one on each track. There are many pedestrians on the sidewalks that line the street, and several are crossing the street in crosswalks in the foreground. A number of early-model automobiles is visible, and there is a bicyclist at center. The street is decorated with American flags and star emblems hung on wires over the road. There are tall buildings on both sides of the street.
