Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the adobe home Casa Yorba, its facade covered with creeping vines, ca.1940. The long, one-and-a-half story ranch house is pictured at a slight angle at center, diminishing towards the left distance. In front of the house, a line of bushes that appear to be rose bushes are creeping up the support beams for the roof's awning. A small length of picket fence is visible extending from the right end of the house, apparently connecting it to a second rancher whose roof is partially visible at the far right. A paved road is visible in the foreground. The adobe home was built before 1841, given by Don Domingo to his son Miguel in 1860. Picture file card reads "West side Highway 101".
