Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of a street in Anaheim decorated with American flags, ca.1925. The street runs from the foreground at left to the distance at right and is lined with an assortment of early-model automobiles. Both sides of the street are bordered by concrete sidewalks and two-story buildings containing shops and stores. Several wires are hung across the street, and American flags are hung from them, suggesting that this photograph was taken around the Fourth of July.; Legible signs include, from left to right: "and J.I. Case T. M. Co. Service Phone 643 J", "Marsom & Marsom Academy of Dancing", "Daley's Quality Groceries", "Soda Café", "P.H. McCloskey Clothing", "Jewel Box", "Cafeteria", "Rooms", "Brunswick", "Keen", "Drugs", "Walnut Café", "Golden State National Bank", "George B. Peck Hardware Groceries Crockery", "Anaheim", and "Citrus".
