Description
Photograph of Dayport Street at the Tower, showing earthquake damage, San Francisco, 1906. Pieces of nearby buildings are scattered across the street at center. Towels at center hang from a clothesline which extends from the electrical poles on the right to the tall buildings on the left. The buildings on the left are damaged while the trees behind the electrical poles on the far right are standing apparently unharmed. Mountains can be seen at the end of the street in the distance.
