Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a National style house, showing a small adjacent section of the house which appears to be the service porch, [s.d.]. The one-story house shows enlongated wide sliding windows and a window-like entrance door. It has a low roof made out of wooden tiles and exterior walls of timber. Vegetation covers the entire ground area.; An inserted paper label reads: "3.2 house. This plan starts as a one bed room type and provision for the future addition of two bed rooms. When this is done, the original bed room is so located that it may be conveniently converted into a dining room by opening two doors already provided for in the framing of the house. Meanwhile, an end of the living room convenient to the kitchen and out of any conflicting traffic lanes provides a pleasant dining space which may be supplemented by using the service porch as a breakfast nook."
