Description
Photograph of an old cypress tree in a grove along 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, ca.1908. The large cypress tree reaches over the dirt road at center from the right foreground. The lone tree is surrounded by tall, thin evergreen trees that fill the forest on either side of the road. A woman walks beneath the over-reaching tree limbs on the curve of the dirt road at center background. The road disappears to the left background.
