Photograph of an exterior view of a one-story house, showing a second house in the back, [s.d.]. The house rests in the center, showing a set of wide windows next to the entrance and additional elongated windows to the side. The house shows a low roof shaded by a few trees that surround it. A second house can be partially visible behind the first house, in the left area. Trees fill in the background and a grassy lawn covers the foreground.; An inserted paper label reads: "4.1 house type, a two bed room house with large living room, dining area and kitchen. This compact plan leaves little to be desired in room arrangement. If there is future need of a third bed room, it may be readily added by expanding the hall through openings already provided for."

Title California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960

Description The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
