Description
Photograph of Paseo de Reforma, showing Columna de la Independencia monument in background, Mexico, [s.d.]. In the extreme foreground, a large paved road can be seen. To the left and right of the road, a line of trees can be seen extending into the extreme background. In the background at the center of the road, a single lamppost can be seen with an automobile nearby. Behind the automobile, a monument commonly known as Angel de la Independencia (aka Columna de la Independencia) can be seen at the center of the road. Small columns surround the base of the monument, and a large pillar is visible at its center. At the top of the pillar, a winged figure of Victory can be seen.
