Description
Woman with the flaming red hair, untitled, West Hollywood, ca.1972. "The woman with the flaming red hair astride a tiger is Adi Shakti who represents the feminine aspect of the universe. In each of her multiple hands she holds a symbol of one of the creators. On the opposite side of the mural is a foil to her energy -- man, his liberation symbolized by his emergence from a lotus. Diana Schnurr is the artist and her painting is on the east side of Bules [sic] Buccieri Antiques in West Hollywood." -- Environmental Communications, Street paintings of Los Angeles, unpaged, #33.
