Description
History of Lincoln Heights, Lincoln Heights, 1994. Albion Street School, exterior, 322 South Avenue 19 between Albion Street and Mozart Street, Lincoln Heights. Images of local history: Gabrielino village located near where the school is today; Spanish colonization, which began with the arrival of the Portola expedition (1769); Rancho San Rafael, a mile north of the school; the building of the railroad, unleashing immigration from the eastern U.S. Acrylc, by Jerry Rodriguez.
