Description
Photograph of three women posing beside a tall cross in the middle of a road, [s.d.]. Two women stand on either sides of a wooden cross, while a third leans against it and bends in a sitting position between them. All three wear dresses and necklaces, and stand at the foot of the cross, which is situated atop several layers of stone flooring. The street appears behind the cross, and several people can be seen on it, while the sides of buildings and utility poles appear at right. The cross reads "El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora La Reina de Los Angeles Felipe de Neve September Fourth 1781".
