Description
Photograph of a desert buttercup, [s.d.]. The thick stem of the flower emerges from the dark soil on the right with two thin stems curling towards the ground at center. The thick stem supports five lightly-colored blossoms which each have four circular petals surround the thin stamen. Many un-opened buds hang from below the blossoms towards the ground where the thin stems hang un-opened buds. On the right a dark cloud of stiff, intertwined stems stand in bushes behind the desert buttercup. Photoprint reads "Pale yellow flowers growing from 6'' to 8'' high. Philip C. Jones 7510 Claybeck Avenue, Burbank".
