Photograph of a few people in the yard at the "Twin Joshuas", the ranch of S.E. Moller, located four and a half miles northeast of Palmdale, on August 1929. Two children and an adult sit beneath the shade of a house which has a roof covered with some kind of foliage. An empty plot of grassy land sits at center, while part of a house appears behind it. An assortment of trees and foliage can be seen at left.

Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection 1890-1960
Description
The more than 3,600 unique photographs of this collection document the Chamber's promotional efforts during the city's early years. In addition to stock photographs, there are pictures of the elaborate booths and displays that the Chamber prepared for use at state fairs and international trade shows. The photographic collection contains images showing the growth of important municipal enterprises, such as ground transportation systems, aviation, and shipping. In addition there are about 1,000 lantern slides in this collection -- not yet fully digitized.
