Description
Photograph of a man standing between rock formations on Shell Beach, El Pismo, ca.1905. The man is at center and is bending over and looking down at his knee. He is visible only in silhouette. There are very large rocks on both sides of the man, and another large rock behind him. The ocean is visible through a gap in the rocks at center, and a steep cliff can be seen across the water. Small bushes can be seen on top of the large rock at right.
