Photograph of Peck Avenue (mislabelled "Gaffey Street"), San Pedro, California, an example of improvement recently completed in the hilly section, October 4, 1928. A two-lane paved road can be seen from the foreground towards the center background. The road slopes up and down over a few hills. Utility poles line the left side of the road. Trees can be seen on top of an elevated portion of land at right. A tall wall can be seen in the right foreground with a fence on top. A few buildings are visible amidst trees in the background.
