Description
Photograph of the Los Angeles Plaza with a fence around the well in the center of the circular landscaped Plaza and old Chinatown. The historic Lugo House faces the the circular plaza. The Los Angeles Water Company has a building near the Lugo House. Commercial buildings abut the plaza. Residential buildings are scattered out in the background. Legible signs include: "L.A. City Water Co." The photograph appears to be taken from the 5-story Brunswig building (built in 1888). Note: Originally, the image was captioned as, " View of the Los Angeles Plaza from the Mission Los Angeles toward the Lugo House".
