Description
Photograph of a view of Hill Street looking north from Temple Street, Los Angeles, ca.1884. A boy stands in the middle of Hill Street, a two-story house is obscured by trees behind him and a wrought-iron fence. A second house is to the right of him, also surrounded by a wrought-iron fence, although only single-story. More residences pepper the hilly countryside to the right, with the Banning house visible in at center in the distance.
