Panel 2 of 2 of Ulysses S. Grant High School, untitled mural, Van Nuys, 1986. Ulysses S. Grant High School, exterior bungalows (rooms 4 and 7), 13000 Oxnard Street (at Coldwater Canyon Boulevard), Van Nuys. One mural shows the school welcoming students from countries around the world. The other portrays characters from literature and history. Acrylic, 2 panels, designed by English-as-Second-Language (ESL) students Francisco Molieri and Mario Delafuente. Executed with assistance from other ESL students. Sponsored by the school. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, p. 145, #39.
