Description
Photograph of a steam thrashing machine near San Jose, California, ca.1900. A man wearing a hat carries a large bag on the left while several men lift bags under a small tent at center. Just behind the tent stands a tall machine with gears on the front side. To the right a long, slanted machine appears to shoot hay using a moving track underneath. Piles of hay cover the ground on the right while a wagon filled with hay is pulled by horses on the left.
