Description
Panel 1 of 2 of Soldiers and sailors, 1942, Patriotic Hall, interior lobby, 1816 South Figueroa (near 18th St.). Military costumes from the Revolutionary War to World War II. The building is an historic landmark constructed in 1926. In 1943, also for the FAP, Helen Lundeberg painted a three-panel civil liberty-themed mural, called Washington-Voting-Meeting, at the lobby entrance to the auditorium, but it has since been removed.
