Description
Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing the ruins of the City Hall from Market Street, 1906. People walk around a small, circular patch park in front of the City Hall building where palm trees provide shade and a statue depicting a warrior stands on a large pedestal. The heavily damaged City Hall stands behind it with its tall dome stripped of its exterior wall. Debris is piled all the way across the long building's base.
