Description
Photograph of a large date palm tree in front of a house on Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, ca.1888. View is looking north from Orange Street, or 6th Street, or Adams Boulevard. A low wall with a decorative wrought iron fence separates the front yard of the dwelling from the sidewalk. Other trees, cactus, and shrubs are planted at the left corner of the residence. This house and the one behind it are barely visible through the greenery.
