Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Kaufmann School -- elementary school -- (or Pomona High School?) at Palomares Street and Sixth Street in Pomona, ca.1910. The Mission-style building is approached by a broad walk planted on either side with small plants and a tall flag pole in the middle. Though basically one story, the central portion of the building rises to two stories and is flanked with two square bell towers. The sidewalk, curb and overgrown gutter are in the foreground.
