P.S. Yepros and family are alive and well in Aintab. Aunt
Doodoo's husband died 2 years ago from typhoid fever. My
uncle (father's brother, Nazar), and Aunt Lucia and their
families are also alive and well. Aunt Horig and her son
Yousouf and son-in-law Krikor efendi are deceased, sizeh
gomure.
From the Berejikli family by brother-in-law and Nazar
agha and gelin Vahide have all passed away. The rest of the
family are alive and well. Vartan Garabed, Kraj Nerses, and
Kevork, with their families have all perished in the desert
of Der Zor.
Here I am sending to you our family photograph. T
trust it will reach you safely.
Please send this letter to my brothers and convey to
them our special selams. The postal service of Aintab has
not as yet been restored. As soon as the service is
resumed, they will write their own letters to you with their
own hands.
