Description
Photograph of the Spaulding Saw Mill, ca.1920. Moist dirt land in the foreground lines a railroad track that runs horizontally through the image. Thick wooden planks are piled behind the barren dirt land while a Union Pacific freight car can be seen to the left of center along with a water tower and a building with four smokestacks. To the right, a large building labeled with a circular sign reads, "Spaulding Logging Co.". What seems to be smoke fumes out from behind the buildings while trees are visible in the background.
