Description
Photograph of the exterior view of the Polytechnic High School, Washington Street between Hope Street and Flower Street, Los Angeles, ca.1910. The building (probably adjoined to the main building further down the street) has similar features as the main building such as large pediments supported by ionic columns and rectangular windows. Inside the pediment are leafy ornamental moldings. Unlike the main building, this building has a dome roof. The roof of the main building is flat. The street in front is wet and muddy. Utility poles and lines are visible overhead.
