Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission San Juan Capistrano, showing the original façade of the Padre Recamaras campanario, ca.1876. The ruins of a two-story stone building can be seen to the right, piles of lime and rubble pouring out beneath it. To the left, a one-story, L-shaped adobe stands behind a square of post-and-rail fence. The individual doors of the adobe can be seen spaced at regular intervals beyond the archways that hold up the eaves of the terracotta-tiled roof.
