Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a residence on the northwest corner of Spring Street and Sixth Street, 1883. The small, one-storey clapboard house can be seen at center. It has light-colored walls and a dark roof. A narrow brick chimney rises from the middle of the roof. A tall weather vane with the number 1883 can also be seen on the roof. A small covered porch is visible at right, while several large rectangular windows are visible along the sides of the house. A low white picket fence encircles a yard in the foreground. A row of young trees borders a dirt sidewalk at left. Another house can be seen in the background at right. Backof photoprint mentions Downtown Business Men's Association.
