Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a San Diego residence, possibly the Murtha (or Mertha Residence), ca.1890-1900. A two-story farm house is shown just to the left of center, people visible on its porch and in the adjacent yard. A windmill is pictured farther right, well inside the picket fence that runs along the left edge of the property. A second, post-and-rail fence, can be seen to the left. The La Jolla Railroad later laid tracks in the foreground.
