Description
Photograph of carriage traffic on Los Angeles Street at First Street, Los Angeles, 1907. The road runs from the foreground at left to the background at right. Streetcar tracks can be seen embedded in the middle of the road, and a large streetcar can be seen in the foreground at center. Horse-drawn buggies and carriages can be seen parked along both sides of the street. Multi-story brick buildings line both sides of the road, and awnings protrude from the structures and cover the sidewalk at left. The Zellerbach Paper Company building can be seen at left.
