Description

Photograph of aerial view of Morris Dam, ca.1920. At center in the far background, the large dam positioned between the massive mountains can be seen. The dam is visibly divided into two separate parts by a large piece of the mountain range. To the left of the dam, a long sloping structure can be seen directing water from the top level to the river below. On the right, the large dam wall is visible with four small cylindrical holes near its base. These holes have been opened, and water can be seen gushing into the small river below. Two small poles stand on either side of the dam wall, and a small path is visible at the top of the dam. Behind the dam, the high water level surrounds hulking mountain ranges extending far into the background.
