Chilsŏng Gate, Pyŏngyang

Description

Chilsŏng Gate is located in Pyŏngyang's Moranbong Park, at the foot of Moran Hill. The gate dates from the 6th century. In Koguryo it was the northern gate of the Inner Fort. The gate was rebuilt in 1712.
