Description

"Hafen von Aden" ("Port in Adan"). Picture of the harbour in Adan, Yemen, taken on board a ship. The landscape is mountainous with only a few buildings. Several ships in the harbour in the front.
The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
