Automobiles are parked along the left side of the street, facing the camera, while others drive along the right side, away from the camera. A streetcar is visible in the centerground on the tracks which bisect the street. Pedestrians can be seen in the centerground as well, both on the sidewalk and in the process of crossing the street. Commerical buildings line each side of the street, from the foreground into the background. The lower left corner of the image is marked "L.A. 708 W. 6th St".
