Description	Photograph of an ostrich from the Los Angeles Ostrich Farm pulling a cart, ca.1900. The ostrich which has dark plumage stands at the right harnessed to the cart on the left. The cart seems to be a simple wooden box with a young boy sitting in the circular seat on top and holding the reins. Four relatively large wheels support the cart while several other ostriches stand on the other side of the fence behind the cart. Many fences containing several more ostriches can be seen in the background on the left while trees dominate the right.
