Description	Photograph of orange groves in Southern California, ca.1910. A hill of light, tall grass lies in the foreground with tall trees at its foot below. Beyond the trees the short, dark orange trees stand in rows across several divided fields. The field at center is bordered by a second field lined with tall trees on the left and a lightly-colored lane on the right. To the right of the lane is a third field framed with taller, congested lines of trees. Another wall of these trees on the back edge of the field separates it from the fields that extend into the background. Clear, light fields of grass lie in the background on the left while faint, tall trees stand near fields in the distance.
