Description	Photograph of an exterior view of the adobe home of Jose Estudillo, the basis for Friar Gaspara's home in Helen Hunt Jackson's novel "Ramona", ca.1898. And expansive, flat-roofed one-story adobe is pictured at center, its doors facing towards a tree pictured at right. The roof does tilt slightly over the entrances that lace the peremiter of the building, but do not come to any discernable peak. Spackle is chipping from the walls, exposing the brick beneath. A dirt road in the foreground is striated with what appear to be bicycle or cart tracks.
