Description	Photograph of a plaque commemorating Father Junipero Serra, Mount Rubidoux, Riverside, erected October 12, 1909. Leaning against two wooden planks (of a wall?) the metal plaque depicts Serra in front of a mission pointing heavenward with his right index finger accompanied by an altarboy while 5 Indians look on, and reads: "The beginning of civilization in California, Fra Junipero Serra, apostle, legislator, builder, to commemorate his good works this table is here placed, unveiled by William Howard Taft, twenty seventh president of the United States, October 12 A.D. 1909".
