The trees are spaced fairly far apart, and large bunches of dates are visible beneath their fronds. A man in long pants and suspenders and a woman in a long dress and a hat are standing in the shade at left. The orchard is bordered by a low wire fence, visible in the distance at right, and an open field lies just beyond the fence.
