Photograph of an exterior view of the Harbottle residence, formerly the residence of Jotham Bixby, 1930. Two Dutch Colonial homes are pictured, one behind and skew to the other, the foremost home overgrown with ivy or creeping roses. An early automobile is pictured parked along the sidewalk in front of a set of steps that lead to the entrance of the frontmost house. Two chimneys extend from the peak of the fronted home, while only one can be seen on the aft home. An unkempt clearing is visible in the foreground, lining the opposite side of the street that runs the width of the image.; An earlier record asserts that, "The address is 1801 (or 3801?) Long Beach Boulevard, Long Beach. Donated by Mrs. Edna Fielder (the former Mrs. Harbottle) 420 W. 2nd Street, Los Angeles".
