Description	Photograph of the exterior of an adobe house at the Twenty-nine Palms oasis, used for shelter by early cattlemen and settlers, 1920. The small residence is made of bare adobe bricks, with a light colored door on the left side and a dark colored door on the front side. There is an adobe chimney next to the light door, and in front of it is a set of wooden shelves, while at the left side of the picture is a canvas tent. Behind the house is an assortment of oak and palm trees that stretch above the top edge of the photograph.
