Broadway runs from the foreground at right to the background at center and is lined with rows of tall, rectangular buildings. The rooftop of one of the buildings can be seen in the foreground at left and is covered with benches and potted plants. An American flag can be seen on a pole at center. On the street below, pedestrians can be seen walking along the sidewalk that borders the street. The tower of City Hall is visible in the background at center. Compares to CHS-35384, which shows the same scene with the flag in a different position.
