Description	Photographic group portrait of the students of the Cahuenga Valley Township School posed in front of the school with a horse, ca.1884. Forty-two young boys and girls and one older man with a beard are standing in front of the schoolhouse at center. One of the boys is sitting on a dark horse towards the right. The schoolhouse is a wooden building with a tall bell tower at left and a brick chimney at center. There are five wood-framed windows along the perimeter of the building, and an open doorway is visible at left.
